BUBBLE BATH #1

I love bathes. I can't even begin to describe how much I love them. I love them as much as Pooh loves Honey. I also love chocolate this much, but that can wait till another day. For someone as anxious as I am, it's hard to sit still and slow down. I don't want to be stuck in one place, forced to confront all the mumbo jumbo running around in my heads. But when it comes to the tub, the warm water, soothing scents, the endless bubbles for bubble beards... I can lie still and rest. I love to watch a movie or a tv show while sipping lemonade or orange juice (I'm not a big alcohol drinker, but I'm sure wine pairs well with this ambience too).

My "BUBBLE BATH" series stems from a game I used to play as a child (and subsequently got in trouble for). I loved playing a game we called "Potion" with my friends, where we grabbed as many different kinds of soaps and perfumes and mixed in matched concoctions for our lab. Understandably, my mom was not a fan of me wasting random hair products. I also remember using my grandmother's perfumes (Secretly), which would have been bad except 15 years later those perfumes haven't moved so no one else was going to use them anyways.

Anyways, I got older and bigger, and my operations needed to expand. Subsequently, I found the adult and socially acceptable version of "Potion" in bubble bathes. I love mixing together different soaps, bath bombs, bath salts, and essential oils to make a giant tub of glory that I can soak in till my body looks like that of a 98 year old great grandmother.

This first mixture is simple. Today I used the "Doubly Bubbly Cloud Bath" mixture from Bath and Body works to add the "bubble" part to "bubble bath". Normally I add in some other gel soaps, but this wasn't going to be a long bath and I like saving my best creations for longer soaks. I bought this mixture on a whim, and though it foams up nicely initially, the bubbles do not last very long. It also takes a significant amount of the soap in order to get a lot of bubbles, and since I like bubbles (a lot), I will be on the look out for other bubble bath soaps that last longer. I also used a bath bomb from "Life Around 2Angels". These bath bombs are fantastic, they work just as well as those from Lush but for a fraction of the price. The color pigment is beautiful, and the scents are just right so that you can smell them without your nose being assaulted. It also has fantastic fizz, which is not necessary but I find it fun. I'm pretty easily entertained.
